Catching up with my collection -- 7

Moving into some 2015 cards that I added to my collection, there are a lot of rookies in this post. The Browns had twelve draft picks in the 2015 NFL Draft.

E.J. Bibbs, on the left card, is the first rookie in this post. And even though I said the Browns drafted twelve players in 2015, Bibbs was an undrafted free agent from Iowa State. He was a tight end that played seven games with the Browns, with one reception for 7 yards.

The Bibbs card is an Autographs Prizm insert card from 2015 Panini Prizm Collegiate Draft Picks.

The card on the right is another High School card, being an Autograph insert card from 2015 Upper Deck USA Football. Austin Corbett will be drafted as a Guard by the Browns in 2018.

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu was the Browns final pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Before suffering a knee injury in December 2014, Ekpre-Olomu was considered to be one of top cornerbacks in the draft. He ended up being chosen 241st, in the 7th round, with the Browns not expecting him to play in the 2015 season. He was waived by the Browns in April 2016 without having played for the team.

Both of these cards are from college sets.

The card on the left is a Bowl Ticket parallel, numbered out of 99, from 2015 Panini Contenders Draft Picks.

The card on the right is an Autographs Prizm Blue insert card, numbered out of 75, from 2015 Panini Prizm Collegiate Draft Picks.

Cameron Erving was the Browns second first round draft pick (number 19) of the 2015 NFL Draft. He started 21 games for the Browns from 2015-2017, before going on to play for the Chiefs, Cowboys and Panthers.

The card on the left is an Autographs Prizm insert card from 2015 Panini Prizm Collegiate Draft Picks, as a Florida State card.

The card on the right is from 2015 Panini Contenders.

Running Back Duke Johnson was pick number 77, in the third round, out of Miami in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played four seasons with the Browns, with over 3500 combined rushing and receiving yards and 13 combined touchdowns.

The card on the left is a VS White Gold insert card, numbered out of 99, from 2015 Panini Black Gold. I sometimes don't know what to think when a Browns card is shared with a player from a division rival. However, I think I like the black and orange Bengals swatch on this card a little bit more than the white and orange Browns swatch. I think it is a nice pairing of swatches on the card.

The card on the right is an Immaculate Dual Jerseys insert card from 2015 Panini Immaculate Collection. It is numbered out of 99, and the swatches aren't as exciting as the ones on the other card.

The top card is a Longevity Rookie Jerseys insert card from 2015 Panini Rookies & Stars.

The bottom card is a Rising Rookie Materials insert card from 2015 Panini Spectra. It is numbered out of 199, and I really like the photo of him running straight forward.

Some more numbered memorabilia cards here with the top card being a Rookie Relics Xfractor insert card, numbered out of 99, from 2015 Topps Chrome.

The middle card is a Rookie Jumbo Relics insert card, numbered out of 99, from 2015 Topps Triple Threads.

The bottom card is a Jumbo Relic Die Cuts insert card, numbered out of 300, from 2015 Topps Valor.

I've talked about Vince Mayle on this blog before, and how I have so many cards, especially autographed ones, for someone who didn't make the team after being drafted with pick 123, of the fourth round, out of Washington State. I will eventually get to the point where I have a different autographed card for every day of training camp that he was on the team.

The top left card is a very thick base card, numbered out of 99, from the 2015 Panini Immaculate Collection Collegiate set.

The top right card is a Prizm Permier Jerseys card from 2015 Panini Prizm.

The bottom card is a Gigantic Jerseys card, numbered out of 199, from 2015 Panini Spectra.

There is a funny story with the card on the left. It is the regular Autograph insert card from 2015 Topps. I always thought that I owned it, but my "regular" autograph card from this set was a short print variant.

However, I do have many Topps Chrome autographs with this photo (regular and parallels), so I'm definitely used to seeing that card front signed.

The card on the right is also from 2015 Topps. It is a Rookie Premiere Autographs insert card, numbered out of 150.

Again from the 2015 Topps set, the top card is a Rookie Jumbo Relics insert card.

The bottom card is a Shield of Honor Autograph Patches insert card, numbered out of 800, from 2015 Topps Valor.

Finally, these two cards are the same card, but with different swatches in them. They are Rookie Patches from, once again, 2015 Topps.

I saw them both, knew I didn't have one, and couldn't decide which swatch to buy. They were cheap enough that I decided to buy both of them. I'm storing them together in my collection, but they are only counting as one card for my collection count as the second card is really a double.

Here are a couple of cards of a non-rookie, the wonderfully named Barkevious Mingo.

The card on the left is from the 2015 Donruss Signature Series set, while the card on the right is an Autographs insert card from 2015 Topps Field Access.

Nate Orchard was pick number 51 in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played three seasons with the Browns.

These two Utes are both college cards. (And, no, I'm not apologizing for a My Cousin Vinny joke.)

The card on the left is an Autographs Prizms Camo insert card from 2015 Panini Prizm Collegiate Draft Picks, while the card on the right, numbered out of 99, is from 2015 Panini Immaculate Collection Collegiate.

Sadly, in the last 2015 pre-season game, Connor Shaw was injured, missed the entire season, and was released in June 2016.

The card on the left is a Signature Series insert card from 2015 Donruss. This shouldn't be confused with the Barkevious Mingo 2015 Donruss Signature Series card from earlier. Nice naming conventions Panini!

The card on the right is an Autographs insert card from 2105 Topps Field Access.

Danny Shelton was the Browns first pick, number 12 out of Washington, in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played three seasons with the Browns.

The card on the left is a Certified Potential Autographs insert card, numbered out of 150, from 2015 Panini Certified.

You have to love the stickers with his college number 55, while he is wearing 71 on the card. He did wear 55 for the Browns in 2016 and 2017. Centre Alex Mack wore it during Shelton's rookie season.

The middle card is the short print version from the college 2015 Panini Contenders Draft Picks set. I don't yet own the regular version of this card.

The card to the right is the Extra Points Platinum parallel, numbered out of 25, from 2015 Panini Prestige.

  1. I only recognize one name in this post, and that's Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. He was a stud in college, and it's too bad that he never got the chance to reach his full potential.
