Looking at the statistics for my collection, I have over 200 different cards of three different players. The leader in my collection is Tim Couch (who has a great appearance in this year's Bud Light NFL cans commercial), followed by Kevin Johnson and Braylon Edwards.
I added some new cards to both the Johnson and Edwards collections recently.

Top: 1999 Bowman - Interstate #157
Middle (l-r): 2000 Ultra - Gold Medallion #188G; 2000 Fleer Gamers - Extra #81
Bottom (l-r): 2002 Bowman Chrome - Refractors #86; 2003 Upper Deck Standing O - Die Cuts #77 |
As with the Chris Spielman Interstate card that I showed a couple of posts ago, I'm only showing the back of the Kevin Johnson one here.
I didn't own any cards from the 2003 Standing O set so I wasn't really sure what this card was when I saw it, but it is pretty neat to have a football shaped die-cut. I own the base cards of the other displayed parallels.

Top (l-r): 2005 Topps Turkey Red - Red #200; 2006 Bowman Chrome - Refractors #219
Middle (l-r): 2006 Bowman - Blue #108 (#/500); 2006 Bowman - Gold #108
Bottom: 2009 Topps Magic - Minis #147 |
Of these, the only one that I don't have the base card for is the Turkey Red card above.
I like mini cards, but just put them in regular nine-pocket pages beside their base cards in my collection.
The following are also minis, not that you can tell without a regular card beside them for perspective.

L-R: 2009 Topps Magic - Minis #250; #248; #219 |
Surprisingly, it appears that I still need Jim Brown's base card for this set. Now that I know to look for it, I'm sure I'll get it sometime soon.

Top (l-r): 2010 Topps Magic - Minis #139; #153
Bottom (l-r): 2010 Topps Magic - Minis #178; #248 |
I own the base cards for these four cards, but am still looking for one base card (Colt McCoy) and two minis (McCoy and Mohammed Massaquoi) from this set.

Top: 2012 Topps Magic - Minis #222
Bottom (l-r): 2013 Topps Magic - Minis #185; 2013 Topps Magic - Minis Black #317 |
I'm slowly working on my 2012 Magic minis. I have all the base cards, but this is only the 4th of the 9 cards that I own the mini for.
And with the 2013 minis, you get to see a parallel of a parallel. Woo hoo! I own the base cards for both of these players but don't yet own the regular mini of Joe Thomas. (And I sometimes wonder why I can't remember exactly what I own in my collection.)
Moving away from minis, here are a few more recent parallels that I picked up.

Top (l-r): 2005 Bazooka - Blue #44; #82
Bottom (l-r): 2005 Bazooka - Blue #89; #102 |

Top: 2005 Bazooka - Blue #160
Bottom (l-r): 2005 Bazooka - Gold #89; #102 |
Yeah, I probably should have grouped the Droughns and Suggs blue and gold cards together. It only really hit me when I looked at the screen but I'm too lazy to scan them again.
I still need the Winslow base card from this Bazooka set.
Finally, one last card that is the first of its parallel that I own.

2005 Bowman - 1st Edition #156 |
Just a small little foil 1st edition logo on the front. I wonder if I've missed any of those before by not looking close enough. I keep saying that I need to sit down with my doubles and actually look to see if I've missed any parallels in them, but I need to finish organizing my collection first - something that I didn't get done this summer like I hoped to.
That standing o parallel is neat. for the basketball set we didn't get a cool die cut. The 1st edition cards aren't parallels in the true sence. They were a standalone set exclusive to Topps Home Team Advantage stores. They had no inserts or parallels but most people list them as parallels to the base set even though it is not correct.
